This gel works GREAT with my wavy/curly hair! A small amount goes a long way, as the gel is a little thin. Which I think it makes it easier to apply to every strand. After I apply the gel to my hair, I twist and scrunch, then I allow it to air dry. This gel does work well with holding its shape throughout the day.
